Face Covering Expectations
Our reopening plan requires the use of face coverings. The appropriate type of mask must be worn properly while on campus. Below are tips on how to choose and wear a mask to help prevent the spread of COVID-19.
Face Coverings Should:
- completely cover nose and mouth
- be secured with ties or ear loops
- fit snugly but comfortably against the face
- include multiple layers of fabric (tightly woven cotton is best)
- allow for breathing without restriction
- be able to be laundered and machine dried without damage or change to shape
Face Coverings Should NOT:
- be see-through when held up to the light
- have one way exhalation valves or vents-This allows exhaled respiratory droplets to reach others and potentially spread the COVID-19 virus.
