Online Registration

All registration information for the district is collected electronically through PowerSchool, an online enrollment and student management system.  The system is designed to make student enrollment easy and flexible for families so that you can enroll your child on your time from the convenience of your home. The online registration process must be completed for all district students annually. 

Parents with returning students should log in to their PowerSchool Parent account to access the online registration form. The form is not accessible via the mobile app and must be accessed from a web browser (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, etc.). Please review the Online Registration directions to the right to determine which registration pathway is appropriate for your child. 

Registration Help

The School District of Jefferson is hosting two in-person registration helps days. On these days we will provide Spanish translation, account/password assistance, Chromebooks, wi-fi, food service information, transportation information, as well as printed resources. Both help days will be held in the Jefferson High School Commons (enter by the Eagle):

1. Thursday, July 24, 1:30 pm - 6:30 pm
2. Tuesday, July 29, 10:00 am - 3:00 pm

If you need assistance with registration and are unable to attend the help days, please contact your child's school or the District Office. Our Administrative Assistant team is available to assist you over the phone or can set up an individual, in-person appointment. Contact information for each school is listed below.

Passwords

Our Administrative Assistant team is able to reset your PowerSchool Parent Portal password if needed. Please be aware that the registration portal and efunds have different login accounts and are not linked together.

Payments

The SDOJ School Board approved to eliminate general registration fees (for 2025-26 school year only). All outstanding, course, and optional (athletics, band, parking pass, etc.) fees must still be paid*. High school course fees will be billed two weeks into each semester.

We encourage our families to make payments online through efunds in the PowerSchool Parent Portal. If you do not currently have an account please contact your child's school and ask for your child's student ID number to create an account. Payments in the form of a check can also be mailed directly to your child's school.

*It is important to note that all outstanding fees are due at the time of registration. All unpaid fees will carry forward each year that your student is enrolled with our District.  It is important that these fees are paid to avoid significant late fee charges to your student's account. The District has the ability to process credit card, debit card and ACH payments through our online processing system or collect cash/check payments.
