On behalf of the Board of Education, faculty, and staff, we invite you to visit our school district and discover the many advantages offered. We provide the opportunities of a large school district within a small school environment. In partnership with the community, the mission of the District is to provide an environment of excellence and opportunity for all students to achieve their dreams.

The School District of Jefferson offers programs to meet the needs of students grades 4K through 12th grade, additionally providing services to students with IEP's, Advanced Placement needs, Youth Apprentice Programs, Virtual School and NATEF Certification.

PLEASE NOTE: If your student previously attended the School District of Jefferson but left to attend a different school district, and is now returning, you will need to enroll again since there was a break in attendance in our district.

Online Registration

All registration information for the district is collected electronically through PowerSchool, an online enrollment and student management system. The system is designed to make student enrollment easy and flexible for families so that you can enroll your child on your time from the convenience of your home.

Frequently Asked Questions

Are there any fees?

The SDOJ School Board approved to eliminate general registration fees (for 2025-26 school year only). All outstanding, course, and optional (athletics, band, parking pass, etc.) fees must still be paid*. High school course fees will be billed two weeks into each semester.

We encourage our families to make payments online through efunds in the PowerSchool Parent Portal. If you do not currently have an account please contact your child's school and ask for your child's student ID number to create an account. Payments in the form of a check can also be mailed directly to your child's school.

*It is important to note that all outstanding fees are due at the time of registration. All unpaid fees will carry forward each year that your student is enrolled with our District. It is important that these fees are paid to avoid significant late fee charges to your student's account. The District has the ability to process credit card, debit card and ACH payments through our online processing system or collect cash/check payments.

What school supplies will my child need?

I have a new student, do I need to create a new account in the enrollment portal?

If you have never used PowerSchool Enrollment, you will need to create a new account. If you get an error that the email address you entered is already linked to an account, then you should go back to the sign in page and log in with your existing credentials.

If your child previously attended our district or another district that also uses PowerSchool Enrollment, or you have other children in the District, you should already have an account and will log in using your existing credentials.

If you cannot remember your password, click Forgot Password below the sign in button. If you do not receive an email or are having further issues logging in, please contact the District Office at (920)675-1000 or one of the contacts listed below for further assistance.

We live outside the district boundaries, what additional steps do I need to take?

To attend a district other than the one in which you reside, you must apply for open enrollment. Please see our Open Enrollment page for more information and links to applications.

If your student already attends the School District of Jefferson via an approved open enrollment application, you do not need to reapply each year. As long as the student continues to attend each year consecutively without a break in enrollment, the approved application will continue to allow your child to attend via open enrollment. If you have an additional student that will be new to the district, you will need to complete an application for that student.
