2025 Important Dates
- December 27, 2024, 5:00 p.m.: Deadline for incumbents to file Notification of Non-Candidacy

NOTICE: Incumbents who have filed a notification of noncandidacy (Link will be updated if/when forms are received)

- January 7, 2025, 5:00 p.m.: Deadline for candidates to file Declaration of Candidacy and Campaign Registration Statement forms.
- PLEASE NOTE: The Declaration of Candidacy form needs to be notarized prior to the filing deadline and will not be accepted without notarization.
- February 18, 2025: Spring Primary (if needed)
- March 28, 2025 at Noon: Deadline for Write-in Candidates to register for the Spring Election
- In order to register as an official write-in candidate, you must file a Campaign Registration Statement form with the School District office prior to this deadline.
- March 28th is a District holiday so offices will be closed. There will be someone to collect paperwork between 10 am and noon. Please email schmittv@sdoj.org with any questions.
- April 1, 2025: Spring Election
- April 7, 2025: Board of Canvassers Meeting (tentatively 4pm)
- April 28, 2024: Board Reorganization Meeting
