Planning for Success
In August 2024, the School District of Jefferson formed a Strategic Planning committee to update the district’s commitments, pillars, and five-year strategic objectives and define the District's direction for the next five years. This process provided all committee members with the necessary background information. It included a facilitator, Joe Schroeder Consulting, along with a team of 27 individuals from community members, business leaders, teachers, support staff members, parents, students, and administrators. The updated plan was approved by the School Board on August 26th. The purpose of the Strategic Plan is to provide guidance for the annual development of milestones that align with the four core strategies and key performance objectives. This annual process provides a structure for the continuous improvement work to be completed over the long-term in order to meet the District’s mission, vision, and belief statements for student learning. |

District Pillars and 5-Year Strategic Objectives
The following four pillars organize our continuous improvement work at the district and the school level over the long term. These pillars are further defined and supported by our five-year strategic objectives within each. Using this document as a guide, we will develop annual goals with action steps to accomplish these multi-year strategic objectives. This process provides a structure for the continuous improvement work to be completed over the long term to advance the District’s mission, vision, and commitments to student learning and organizational excellence.
