Professional Learning in the School District of Jefferson
SDoJ Professional Learning Plan is designed based on student achievement data and conversations with administrators, teachers, and leaders of district teams. The goal of the plan is to provide all staff (certified and support staff) with the skills and knowledge necessary to create a safe, welcoming, supportive, rigorous and equitable learning opportunity for all students.
Professional learning will focus on the District's Strategic Plan and School Improvement plans established through the Plan, Do, Study, Act (PDSA) cycle. As the commitment of the District states, SDoJ will be continually improving our dedication to excellence in teaching and learning and the opportunities we provide students. The professional development goals and offerings summarized in this document are aligned with these commitments.
